DR. C.M. STAY, D.V.M

PROFILE: Dr Stay was born 1892 and died 1972. Dr. Stay, formerly of Gilroy, California operated a small animal hospital and practiced there until his retirement from veterinary medicine in 1970.

HISTORY: As a student at the Kansas State University school of Veterinary Medicine, stay owned and raced greyhounds. He graduated in 1935 at the age of 43 and continued in the greyhound business maintaining an active kennel until his death. He was a member of the National Coursing Association from 1926-1972 and served as its vice-president from 1961 to 1962. He was a member of the Golden State Coursing Association of California.
