PROFILE: Edgar Trow grew up near the Raynham and Taunton Greyhound Parks. He married Irma Caron of Taunton in March of 1955 and they are the parents of three sons.

HISTORY: Like most boys who grew up near racetracks, Trow started in the doing odd jobs around the kennel. He later became cool out boy and eventually was lead out boy, then learned the business by working for others in the industry. He opened his own kennel in the 1960’s.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: The Edgar Trow Kennel was ranked as the top winner at the Naples Fort Myers Kennel club and later at Raynham. After being the track champion at Bonita Springs, his S.S. HONI LUV won the Raynham Inaugural in 1968 and later ranked high on the 1969 top winner list. Two of Trow’s sons continue to work in the greyhound industry.
