About The Wayne Ward Memorial Scholarship
The Greyhound Hall of Fame sponsors a $1,000 scholarship through the Wayne Ward Memorial Scholarship program. The scholarship winner will be announced at the National Greyhound Association Spring Meet. Recipients receive $500 for the fall semester and $500 for the spring semester. Students must be in good standing and provide a transcript of the fall semester to receive the second payment.

Scholarship Application Process
Complete these three steps to apply for the Wayne Ward Memorial Scholarship through the Greyhound Hall of Fame.
Complete The Application
Fill out the application form including your connection to the Greyhound industry, post-high school goals, and the school you plan to attend. Include one photograph and your last semester transcript.
Gather Your Recommendations
Have three people who can testify to your character fill out the Recommendation form and return it by mail to the Greyhound Hall of Fame. Make copies of the form as needed.
Submit Your Application
Mail your completed application, three recommendations, one photograph, and your last semester transcript to:
