You also appear in the pedigrees of nine more All-Americans, including Hello Higsbee (by Rooster Cogburn’s son Rooster’s Spur), Swed-ish Episode (by Meter Maid, a daughter of Radar Look’s daughter Millimeter), He’s My Man (by Beau Liz, a daughter of Highway Robber’s son Beau Boogie), Mi Designer (by Beau Boogie’s daugh-ter Proud Treat), Randy Handy (by Rooster Cogburn’s son, Rudy Vallie), Oxford Shoes (by Kelso’s Hot Rod, whose dam Able To Run* is by Sand Man), Dicky Vallie (by Rudy Vallie), Cookin Capp (by Cookin Debbie whose dam Blue Eyed Sue is by Highway Robber) and DG’s Dealer (by Rooster Cogburn’s son Hondo Monopoly).

You also mothered Sand Man, considered to be one of the most influential sires in England and Ireland. He was voted Ireland’s Stud Dog of the Year in 1983, 1984 and 1986, surrender-ing his title in 1987 to his own son, Whisper Wishes.

Although your descendants are your claim tofame, you were no loser on the racetrack. Out of Tell You Why* and Miss Dilly Mar, you were a 1970 All-American and runner-up that year for National Win honors with 34 victories. You won the Sarasota Kings and Queens Stake and garnered 13 straight victories there. You were the Tampa win leader, won the Kings and Queens stake and ran second in the Tampa Speed Classic.
