Beside the above achievements, Marathon Hound was featured in nationally televised shows

“LIFE TIMES OF THE RICH AND FAMOUS” and the “MERV GRIFFIN SHOW”.

I honestly don’t know what else could be asked of a greyhound and the reason I cited the two television shows is that they were done in excellent taste and brought our Sport sane needed good publicity. When they proclaimed a “Marathon Hound Day” in Denver, he was on all three major networks there and highlights of the show were on GOOD MORNING AMERICA.
